New Beginnings Imaging is North Dakota’s only independent ultrasound service led by a registered OB/GYN ultrasound technologist with over 20 years of experience. Unlike other services that may rely on limited training, we bring expert care and in-depth knowledge to every scan, ensuring the highest level of precision and compassionate service. Whether at your home or ours, we offer personalized attention for services such as 1st trimester, gender discovery, 3D/4D imaging, anatomy and infertility scans, and more.
Meet Amanda
Amanda Olson is passionate about pregnancy ultrasound because expectant families deserve a calming environment that reduces anxiety and stress. Our goal is to create a comfortable environment where expectant mothers can have their family or friends present, without feeling rushed through the process. We prioritize convenience and strive to offer you a smooth and enjoyable journey, allowing you to freely ask questions and learn about your unborn baby!
With over two decades of experience as a Registered Ultrasound Technologist at a local hospital, Amanda recognized the potential to offer expectant families across North Dakota a distinctive and personalized experience. Our vision is to provide parents-to-be with a one-of-a-kind journey, creating moments that truly matter.
Amanda is registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography in Obstetrics/Gynecology, Abdomen/Small Parts, Breast, and Vascular and licensed with the North Dakota Medical Imaging Board. Amanda holds an associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound from Argosy University in Bloomington, Minnesota.
Throughout her career, Amanda has taken on various roles, including department supervisor, leader, staff trainer, and ultrasound intern preceptor. She has undergone extensive training in 3D/4D ultrasound with multiple system manufacturers and contributed to the development of a local ultrasound school. Her wealth of knowledge and expertise enables her to provide clients with an unforgettable experience.
Originally from Mandan, North Dakota, Amanda and her husband, Justin, reside in Minot with their Wirehaired Pointing Griffons, Arty and Ripley. They have two adult children, Sawyer and Taylor.
The Experience
A laptop sized ultrasound machine will be brought into your home where you lay in a comfortable location like your couch or bed while the ultrasound is being performed. The ultrasound machine will be connected to your TV for your invited family to watch in real time.
