Wear loose, fitting comfortable clothing. If you are less than 20 weeks pregnant, drink 24 ounces of water 45 – 60 minutes before the session. If you are more than 20 weeks pregnant, be well hydrated.

The ultrasound can take anywhere between 20 – 45 minutes, depending on how cooperative the baby is, and which type of ultrasound is being done. Time will be spent looking at all of your baby, so you won’t feel rushed.

Drink the recommended 8 – 12 cups of water per day throughout pregnancy. The more hydrated you are leading up to your ultrasound the better because ultrasound waves travel best through water.

No, every baby is different. Eating prior to your ultrasound will help keep the baby active.

Gender can be identified as early as 13 weeks into the pregnancy. If, during the initial ultrasound, the gender cannot be determined, we are happy to schedule a follow-up appointment at a later time to try again.

No, since this is a non-diagnostic ultrasound, we are unable to bill insurance.

Not at this time. 

Yes, to secure your appointment, a $100 non-refundable deposit is kindly requested. Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled time, unless due to an emergency, will forfeit the deposit. The deposit will be deducted from your session’s total cost.

Please call to reschedule or cancel your appointment as soon as possible if you are unable to attend.
If canceled within 48 hrs. notice, the deposit is nonrefundable.

NBI offers services within a 25-miles radius of Minot, North Dakota. For locations beyond this area, an additional mileage fee will apply. If you are located outside of the 25-mile radius, we kindly request you to call us to schedule an appointment or reach out to us through our contact page.
