Early Ultrasound
Performed between 6-13 weeks
Confirms pregnancy viability and detects a fetal heartbeat
Estimates gestational age and determines an estimated due date
Assesses the number of fetuses (single or multiples)
Provides reassurance in early pregnancy
Helps identify any concerns that may require further evaluation

Anatomy Ultrasound
Performed between 18-22 weeks
Evaluates major organs, including the brain, heart, spine, kidneys, and stomach
Measures fetal growth and checks for structural abnormalities
Examines the placenta, amniotic fluid levels, and umbilical cord
Optional gender determination upon request

2D Limited Ultrasound
Performed between 14-40 weeks
Monitors your baby’s progress with ongoing ultrasounds
Measures growth and development
Provides a re-evaluation after a previous scan
Can be used to assess the baby’s position, placental location, heartbeat, or amniotic fluid
The specific imaging performed will be based on your provider’s referral

Biophysical Profile
Performed in the third trimester to check the baby’s well-being
Monitors movement, breathing, muscle tone, and amniotic fluid levels
Helps ensure baby is active and developing properly

Pelvis & Transvaginal Ultrasound
Evaluates uterus, ovaries, and surrounding structures
Helps assess pain, irregular cycles, fibroids, cysts, or other concerns

Infertility Ultrasound
Follicle monitoring to track ovulation and reproductive health
Results are sent to your infertility doctor as soon as possible, typically via email
Helps guide the timing for fertility treatments or natural conception planning

Abdominal Ultrasound
Examines gallbladder, kidneys, liver, pancreas, and other organs based on your provider’s referral
Used to evaluate pain, abnormalities, or other medical concerns

You Need a Doctor’s Referral
A provider’s referral is required for diagnostic ultrasounds, as these are medical imaging tests interpreted by a Radiologist.
Referrals must be submitted to New Beginnings Imaging before your appointment.

Pricing Information
- Pricing includes a Radiologist report.
- Travel fees apply for locations more than 25 miles outside of Minot.
- Results will be given to your provider within 24-48 hours.
- Receipt provided upon request for insurance/FSA/HSA reimbursement. (While we provide receipts for insurance/HSA/FSA reimbursement, we cannot guarantee insurance coverage.)
- Additional fees apply for twins and may apply based on the ultrasound services ordered by your provider.
